Darts for Everyone: Supporting Inclusion and Diversity in Darts Through Digital Activities (Acronym DIGIDARTS)
is an innovative and inclusive Erasmus+ Sport Collaborative Partnership Project that aims to eliminate barriers in darts by both providing unique digital facilities for the game and attracting diverse players into the darts area.

The project is based on the implementation of blended sharing and learning opportunities regarding darts play in five European countries: Turkey (coordinator), Austria, Hungary, Iceland and Romania.

Objective of the DIGIDARTS is to increase the inclusion of disadvantageous people as women, disabled and youngs players to Darts area through digitalised and technology based darts activities, and to create an opportunity for a sustainable virtual ecosystem for darts players in all around Europe.


Partners of the DIGIDARTS

DIGIDARTS consortium consists of 5 partner organizations from 5 countries which of 3 are National Darts Federations, 1 organization is Association and Coordinator organization is a HEI. Structure of the consortium reflects diverse institutional background and cultural and geographical diversity of Europe.

Effects of DIGIDARTS

  • Increase women players engagement and their visibility in Darts through Project activities
  • Introduce issues of disabled players in darts area and give them a voice to share their experiences in Darts
  • Increase young players engagement with the darts through digital materials and training workshops in schools
  • Generate public debate and raising awareness on the policy and ethical issues in front of both players and darts organization
  • Extend virtual facilities and digital capacities of partner institutions in darts and make this sustainable after the Project life time.
  • Strengthen darts players digital skills for benefiting virtual darts ecosystem during and after the DIGIDARTS
